Compliance Assistant

Main Purpose of Job Role:
The Compliance Assistant will assist the Manager in assessing, advising, monitoring and reporting across the business with a view to establishing, implementing and maintaining a robust and effective compliance framework through the creation of appropriate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting with the monitoring and reporting of all compliance risks and the creation and implementation of key compliance policies and procedures across the business.
*Assisting with the provision of research, advice and guidance regulatory issues affecting the business.
*Assisting with the provision of guidance and support to Staff in all matters relating to compliance regulation and promoting good practice.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
*A high level of attention to detail is essential to this position
*Experience of working in any of the following disciplines / environments is desirable: FCA/PRA regulated environments, banks, complaints handling, financial reporting, underwriting, legal, regulatory, compliance, risk assessment, financial services, data/business analyst, risk management, research
*Integrity - maintaining consistently high standards of work, loyalty, honesty and commitment
*Excellent IT skills; fully competent with Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems; ability to use other software products and online programmes
